1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the publisher of Uh Oh Puzzle (the "App"). Uh Oh Puzzle is published by an individual developer based in the United Arab Emirates, operating under the brand name "Silly Games" ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it. Please read both.
2. Eligibility
The App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age required by the laws of your country to agree to these Terms on your own, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement, or that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Licence to Use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play (whichever you downloaded it from).
The App, including its artwork, puzzle images, code, audio, and design, is owned by Silly Games or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You may not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App; redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App; remove or alter any proprietary notices; or use the App in any way not permitted by these Terms or by applicable platform (Apple/Google) terms.
4. User Conduct
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or related systems (including Firebase services)
- Use cheats, exploits, automation, bots, or unauthorised third-party tools to manipulate gameplay, progress, hints, or purchases
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the App's cloud save, restore-code, or advertising systems
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person when contacting us
We may suspend or terminate your access to App features (including cloud save) if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.
5. Virtual Items, Hints, and Advertising
The App may offer virtual items with no real-world monetary value, including hints and other in-game aids. Virtual items are licensed to you for use within the App only, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for real money, and may be changed, removed, or reset by us at any time, including as part of game balancing or a save-data reset.
The App displays advertisements (including rewarded and interstitial ads) provided by Google AdMob, unless you have purchased an available ad-removal option. Ad content is selected and served by Google and its advertising partners; we do not control the content of individual ads. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising identifiers are used.
6. In-App Purchases
If the App offers in-app purchases (for example, an ad-removal upgrade or hint packs), the following applies to those purchases:
- Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment card details.
- All sales are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. We cannot issue refunds directly; refund requests must go through the platform you purchased from.
- Purchased content is tied to your device/account save data and the platform account used to purchase it. It is not guaranteed to transfer across platforms (e.g. from Android to iOS).
- We may restrict future purchases where we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, or violation of these Terms.
If a given version of the App does not offer in-app purchases, this section does not apply to that version.
7. Cloud Save and Restore Codes
The App may let you save your progress to the cloud and restore it using a 10-character restore code, as described in our Privacy Policy. Cloud save data is linked to an anonymous identifier, not to your real-world identity.
Your restore code is the only thing that protects your save data. Anyone who has it — whether you shared it, they guessed it, or it otherwise became known to them — can, from any device, at any time, without signing in or proving they are you:
- Read your save data;
- Overwrite your progress. Because our save system only ever merges progress upward (for example, stars, best times, and unlocked levels), an unwanted overwrite from someone else using your code is not something you can simply undo by continuing to play — the inflated or altered values stay;
- Permanently and irreversibly delete the cloud save linked to your code. If this happens, there is no recovery — we cannot restore a deleted save on your behalf.
Reading, overwriting, or deleting a save with a restore code does not require signing in at all. You are responsible for keeping your restore code private, the same way you would a password. We are not responsible for save data lost, overwritten, deleted, or accessed by someone else because your restore code was shared, guessed, or otherwise became known to another person.
What we can tell you is not at risk through this route: your restore code is never sent to our analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising providers.
We take reasonable measures to keep cloud save data available, but we do not guarantee it will never be lost, delayed, or corrupted (for example, due to service outages, device issues, or data deletion requests). Keep in mind that uninstalling the App, or requesting data deletion, may permanently remove your save data.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, puzzle artwork, and other content in the App are the property of Silly Games or its licensors, except for third-party content (such as icon assets) used under licence. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.
If you believe content in the App infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at hello@playsillygames.com with enough detail for us to investigate.
9. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services to function, including:

Your use of the App may also be subject to these providers' own terms of service, which are separate from these Terms. Our Privacy Policy lists their privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (to the extent permitted by law) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that any particular level, feature, virtual item, or save data will remain available indefinitely. We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App (including content, difficulty, or reward structures) at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silly Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress, or virtual items, arising from or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to specific App features (such as cloud save or advertising-based rewards) if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or abused the App's systems.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable local consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
